Desired Feeling
The physically felt target state of the session. Always located in the heart space.
Definition
The desired feeling (German: Wunschgefühl) is the physically felt target state a Mover wants to reach in the session. It is not a thought and not a negation like "no more anxiety". It is a positive, somatically anchored state such as calm, clarity, courage or connectedness. In FIVE MOVES the desired feeling is always located in the heart space, the area around the sternum and heart. It works as the lighthouse of the method: all five moves align with this feeling. The blockage, by contrast, sits at a variable physical address. Lighthouse first, then blockage. This order protects against retraumatisation.
