The honest questions

What might be holding you back

"Can this retraumatise me?"
The short answer: No.

The longer one: that's exactly why FIVE MOVES exists. The whole industry says: "Go into the feeling. Feel it all over again." The result? Ripped open and left on your own.

We do the opposite. First you build your desired feeling, your safe harbour in your heart space. Only then do we go precisely to the spot where the blockage sits.
From safety. Not from pain.
That's not philosophy. That's Polyvagal Theory. Transformation only works when your nervous system feels safe.
More on this: Avoiding retraumatisation →
"What if I don't feel anything? I'm not really a body person."
Your body feels. Always. Otherwise you wouldn't be here reading this.

What you probably mean is: "I can't put a name to it." Or: "I can't get at it directly." No problem. We have four detour techniques for exactly this case.

Micro-moment: "Was there one brief moment, three seconds, when you felt a hint of it?"
As-if: "Imagine what it would feel like if you knew it."
Stand-in: "Do you know someone who embodies it?"
Element metaphor: "If the feeling were an element."

The access comes. Sometimes it just needs a different way in.
"Do I have to talk about my trauma?"
No.

That's one of the biggest differences. We ask: "Where does the blockage sit?" Not: "What happened?" Not: "Why do you feel this?" Not: "Where does it come from?"

Your body knows the address. That's enough. You don't have to tell your story, analyse anything or work through anything.

The truth

You can't think your way out of something you felt your way into. But you can transform it. Without telling the story one more time.

"How safe is this, really?"
A precisely documented process. No intuition. No "let's see what happens."

Every Move has checkpoints. The triple Yes in ALLOW asks each level separately: Body? Feeling? Mind? If one says no, we stop. No pushing. No talking you into it.

You're in full control the whole time. The "not yet" is sacred at FIVE MOVES.

And: FIVE MOVES is for everyday blockages. With severe trauma, acute crises or suicidality, we refer you on. That's not a rejection. That's respect for what you're carrying.
More on this: The triple Yes →
"Sounds too good to be true. One session?"
I get the scepticism. After years of "same time next week", this sounds suspicious.

The truth: yes, one session for one blockage. But that's not the whole story. Then come 40 days of Reality Creation. Every morning, every evening, 90 seconds. That's what anchors the transformation.

The picture: you're moving house. The session is moving day. The 40 days are the unpacking and settling in. After that, you don't go back to the old place to shower.
No commitment = no result. That's the deal.
"What makes this different from all the other stuff?"
Fair question.

Therapy: Nice. Expensive. Same time next week. Works with the head.
Coaching: Insight alone doesn't move anything.
Breathwork: Ripped open. Cried. Woke up. So did the blockage.
EFT/Tapping: 8 points for 8 billion people. One size fits all.
Meditation: Om. The blockage meditates right along with you.

FIVE MOVES: Your body shows you YOUR spot. Individual address. Precise sequence. From safety. One session.

The difference

GPS instead of a street map. Body language instead of head work. Moving house instead of redecorating.

The deeper doubts

What you might not ask out loud

"What if it doesn't work for me?"
The honest answer: if you go through the sequence and do the 40 days, it works.

The less honest answer would be: "It works for everyone." That's not true. If you're not ready. If you skip the 40 days. If your body says no in ALLOW and we respect that. Then nothing happens.

But that's not a session that failed. That's a session telling you: now isn't the right time. And that's information too.
"I've tried so many things already."
Then you probably know your issue better than most. All that understanding becomes groundwork here.

FIVE MOVES works differently. Not with the head. With the body. 90% of the signals run from body to brain. Not the other way round. The body feels first. The brain puts a label on it afterwards.

Whatever you've tried so far probably started at the head. Understanding, analysing, sorting. FIVE MOVES starts at the body. Where the blockage lives.
"Who are you to be doing this?"
I'm not the hero of this story. You are.

I'm a navigator. 25 years of practice. Executive background. Body knowledge. Thousands of sessions. What works stays. What doesn't gets cut.

But at the end of the session, you're the one saying: "I did that." Because it's true. Your body does the transforming. I show the way.
The result is yours. Not mine.

What a blockage is

"What is an emotional blockage?"
An emotional blockage is a physically locatable feeling that blocks access to a state you want. It shows up as pressure, tightness, heat, numbness or heaviness at a concrete address in the body, often in the belly, the chest, the throat or the jaw.

The blockage isn't a thought you can explain away. It's a reaction of the autonomic nervous system.
Full definition with the science behind it →
"Where does a blockage sit in the body?"
Every blockage has a concrete physical address. Common spots: belly, chest, throat, jaw, shoulders, lower back.

What sits there, only your body knows. No chart tells you what a spot means, and no one interprets it for you. You discover the spot yourself.

The body knows the spot. At FIVE MOVES, the guide asks the body, not the head.
"What is a desired feeling?"
A desired feeling is a target state you can physically feel, always located in the heart space.

It's not a thought and not a negation like "no more fear". It's a positive state like calm, clarity, joy or courage, felt in the chest as warmth, spaciousness or a quiet hum.

The desired feeling is the lighthouse the nervous system steers by as the blockage resolves.
More on this: The desired feeling →
"How does FIVE MOVES resolve a blockage?"
FIVE MOVES navigates the blockage with two coordinates:

The desired feeling in the heart space as the lighthouse.
The blockage's location in the body as the target.

Through a precise sequence of five moves (SENSE, CRACK, ALLOW, ACTIVATE, FREE), the desired feeling is brought to the blockage's location and resolves it right where it sits.

A Starting Session takes 90 minutes, followed by 40 days of app anchoring.

The science

Why the body decides

Why goes in circles, Where goes to the spot WHY goes in circles WHERE goes to the spot
"Why do we ask WHERE and not WHY?"
Because "why" keeps you in your head. And nothing resolves in your head.

You can understand perfectly well why you're afraid. And still be afraid. Insight is the map. Not the moving van.

"Where" takes you into the body. Your body knows the blockage's address. Precisely, like GPS coordinates. That's where we start.

The rule

We ask for the WHERE. Never the WHAT. Never the WHY. Never the WHERE FROM.

"What is the Safe & Relaxed Space?"
The most important difference from everything else.

Before we touch the blockage, you find your desired feeling. A feeling that feels good. Located in the body. Not thought up in the head.

That feeling is your safe harbour. From there you take it precisely to the spot where the blockage sits, without reliving the old situation.

That's the difference between retraumatisation and transformation. Stephen Porges (Polyvagal Theory) documented it: change is only possible in safety mode. Not in survival mode.
More on this: Safe & Relaxed Space →
"What are the 5 Moves?"
SENSE: Find the desired feeling. Locate the blockage. 90% of sessions fail here. Not later.

CRACK: The blockage starts to open. Heart field activated. The first crack.

ALLOW: Triple Yes. Body? Feeling? Mind? All three have to say yes. One says no? We stop.

ACTIVATE: 3-6 breathing rhythm. 3 seconds in, 6 seconds out. Your nervous system takes over.

FREE: Anchoring. Colour. Word. Feeling. The new reality becomes your home.
This sequence is sacred. No shortcuts. No detours.
"Why 40 days?"
Phillippa Lally (UCL) documented it: habit formation takes 66 days on average. Not 21. That's a myth.

40 days is the well-founded minimum. And we use a bio-hack: mornings right after waking, evenings just before sleep. That's when you're in theta state. Your subconscious is directly reachable.

90 seconds. Visualise your colour. Feel your desired feeling. Done.
"Is this esoteric?"
No.

No chakras. No aura. No energy work. No manifesting. No universe sending you signs.

Documented science:
Damasio (USC): the body reacts BEFORE the head
Porges: Polyvagal Theory
Nader (McGill): Memory Reconsolidation
HeartMath: heart field 60x stronger than the brain's
Kandel: neuroplasticity (Nobel Prize)

Measurable science. No esoteric waffle.

The self-check

How to spot a blockage

"How do I know I have a blockage?"
By the spot where you've been running into the same wall for years. You want something, and something in you pushes back.

Typical signs: you firmly decide to do something and still don't do it. The same situation triggers the same tightness or pressure every single time. You've long understood your issue, and still nothing changes.
If understanding were enough, you'd be free by now.
"What physical symptoms point to a blockage?"
A blockage has a physical address. It shows up as pressure, tightness, heat, cold, numbness or heaviness at one concrete spot.

Common spots are the belly, the chest, the throat, the jaw, the shoulders or the lower back. What sits there, only your body knows: no one assigns the spot, and no one interprets it for you. Brooding, poor sleep or exhaustion with no clear cause often come along with it.

That address is exactly where we start. We ask the body where it sits. Not the head why.
"Why am I not moving forward, even though I want to?"
Because wanting lives in the head and the blockage lives in the body. Your mind says yes, your nervous system pulls the handbrake.

That's not a lack of willpower and it's not weakness. It's a protective pattern that once made sense and now stands in the way. As long as it sits in the body, even the best intentions won't get you there.
Discipline against a nervous system? The nervous system wins.
"Why do I keep sabotaging myself?"
What feels like self-sabotage is usually an old protection programme. Part of you is holding on to something that once meant safety. Not out of spite, out of habit.

The head wants to move forward, the body stays in the old pattern. That's why trying harder isn't enough. The blockage sits underneath the will, in the body. And that's exactly where we start.
"Is this a blockage or just fear?"
Fear is often just the surface. The blockage is what's stuck underneath.

Fear comes and goes. A blockage stays in the same place, in the same situation, with the same physical signal. If the same issue keeps triggering the same tightness, no matter how often you've thought it through, it's a blockage.

And it doesn't resolve through understanding. It resolves at the spot where it sits.

The basics

What people often ask about blockages

"How do inner blockages form in the first place?"
Mostly in moments when your system learned: this is how I stay safe. A formative experience, a sentence that stuck, a situation that hurt. Your body stored a protective reaction, and it's been running ever since.

For resolving it, though, the where-from hardly matters. We don't ask where the blockage comes from, only where it sits now. Your body knows the spot. You don't have to live through the story again.
"What do old beliefs have to do with blockages?"
A belief like "I'm not enough" is the head version. The blockage is how that sentence feels in the body: as tightness, as heaviness, as a stop.

You can rephrase the sentence a thousand times. As long as the body feeling stays, the blockage stays. That's why we don't work on the sentence. We work on the feeling it triggers in the body.
"Can I resolve a blockage myself, without help?"
Some of it, yes. Movement, writing and honest self-reflection resolve a lot.

But with the stubborn patterns that have been around for years, you rarely reach the spot on your own. Not because you're too weak, but because your system protects exactly that spot. A guide only provides the navigation. Your body does the actual work itself.
"Does a resolved blockage come back?"
If it's truly resolved at the spot, no. What you think away comes back. What transforms in the body stays transformed.

That's exactly what the 40 days after the session are for: the new state gets anchored until it's your normal.
You don't go back. Just like you don't drive to your old flat to shower after moving out.

Before your session

What you need to know

"Do I need to prepare?"
No. Come as you are. Your body already knows everything. Nothing to research, nothing to analyse.

One rule: sober. No exceptions.
"How long does a session take?"
60-90 minutes for the session itself.

After that: 40 days of Reality Creation. Every morning, every evening, 90 seconds. That's part of the deal.
"Does it hurt?"
The physical pressure on the blockage spot? No. Peach pressure. Like holding a ripe peach. Noticeable, but gentle. A 6-7 out of 10.

Too much? Say so. We adjust. Any time.
"What if I want to stop during the session?"
Then we stop. Immediately. No debate.

The "not yet" is sacred at FIVE MOVES. No pushing. No talking you into it. Your body says no? We respect that. Maybe today isn't the day for this blockage. Then we look at what's ready instead.

For families

Kids & teens

"From what age does this work?"
From around age 6. The child needs to be able to name feelings and locate them in their body. "Where do you feel that?" has to be answerable.

Sessions are shorter. More playful. Same 5 Moves, child-friendly language.
"Does this work with teenagers?"
Yes. Puberty is exactly when a lot of blockages form. Exam nerves. Self-doubt. Body image.

Teenagers often have better body access than adults. Less stuck in their heads. More direct.
"Do I need to be there as a parent?"
Your call, and your child's. Some kids open up more without their parents there. Others need that safety.

Under 18: consent form required. The session can happen with or without parents in the room.
